Certification Levels

Prerequisites

Current PSIA-AASI / PSIA-AASI NRM membership
Complete and pass the Telemark Level I Professional Knowledge Exam

Assessment Modules

Day 1: Ski Performance + Movement Analysis / Technical Understanding
Day 2: Teaching and People Skills

Each assessment day is scored separately with written and verbal feedback.
Passed modules are banked with the region — at a future assessment you only join the module(s) you still need.
Assessment activity demonstrations are available as videos — see the '(video)' entries under Documents.

Professional Knowledge Exam

Telemark Level I Professional Knowledge Exam required (via the PSIA-AASI LMS).

Entry-level telemark certification. Assessment activities include shuffle turns, hockey stops, monomarks, garlands, uphill arcs, skating.

Prerequisites

Telemark Level II certification
Complete and pass the Telemark Level III Professional Knowledge Exam
Attend a Level III Telemark prep clinic or Telemark Educational Event
