Freestyle Specialist

• PSIA-AASI Level I certification in any discipline (recommended before taking FS1)
• Complete the Freestyle Track e-learning module for your primary discipline (Skiing or Snowboarding) at least 48 hours before the on-snow clinic

• Terrain park safety and etiquette
• Basic freestyle teaching progression
• Demonstration of fundamental freestyle skills

• Multi-disciplinary course including a written workbook, skiing/riding and teaching scenarios, and technical discussion.
• Must be an active participant and receive a passing score on demonstrated knowledge, understanding, teaching, movement analysis, and on-snow performance.

• Freestyle Specialist 1
• Pass the FS2 online test with a score of 80% or higher at least 48 hours prior to the on-snow event
• Complete the NRM FS2 Workbook for discussion on the first morning of the on-snow event

• Advanced terrain park instruction
• Feature progression design
• Risk management

Includes a written workbook, skiing/riding and teaching scenarios, and technical discussion on progression through intermediate freestyle zones (ATML model and Smart Style integration).
